H6 Systems provides transmitters for research, health care, and security applications. Our transmitters are high-power pulsed commercial transmitters with output powers that run from hundreds of kilowatts to well into the megawatt range. H6 Systems transmitters can be supplied as stand-alone systems, or they can be integrated into your existing equipment.
Continued operation of your system is critical; that’s why all of our commercial transmitters include fault monitoring to protect your equipment against internal failures and harmful operator input. Your transmitter can be controlled from a laptop running our GUI, from a PLC, from a mechanical switch panel, or from your own computer with Modbus. Please note that higher-power units (above 1.5 MW) are liquid cooled, while lower power units are air cooled.
Our goal is to deliver transmitters that provide reliable, high-performance operation with long service life. For help identifying suitable tubes, explore our Tube Finder. If you need to determine the tube power required for a specific field strength, use our Field Strength Calculator.
Commercial Transmitter Technologies
Magnetron-Based Transmitters

Magnetrons are high-power RF oscillators capable of producing strong pulsed output when driven with high voltage. They typically operate with 1–4 µs pulse widths and duties near 0.001.
Klystron-Based Transmitters

Klystrons are vacuum tube amplifiers requiring a drive source and solenoid focusing. They are usually liquid cooled. They operate with pulse widths from 4 µs to 1 ms and duties up to 0.03.
