This scope shot shows the current through each of four IGBTs in one of our high voltage modulators. The IGBTs drive a single pulse transformer which, in turn drives a vacuum tube. We use several methods to balance the current to make sure components last a long time. Current balancing also affects pulse shape which has a bearing on spectrum quality.
